While my Fremont 23 LR has a perfect interior and no chips. Tesla Freemont factory previously owned by Toyota I guess. Not sure if they are using any old machinery to assemble the cars there, hence, some large panel gaps and other issues compare to Austin one, which built by Tesla company itself.

2023 MY-P from Fremont. 0 issues. I think the most notable difference is in the VIN! I have one of each, both 2023. Fremont has matrix, Austin doesn't. Build quality same. No. Matrix headlights on Fremont, not Austin. Check the 11th digit on the VIN. F=Fremont, A=Austin. 2022 Fremont, it's great.

Bigger rims, couple inches lower, small wheel gap between the wheel and car ( from the factory) makes a huge difference. Model 3 bigger rims or smaller rims, it s height is similar. My MYLR Fremont has very good panel alignment. Of course, it is different case to case regardless of build location. I wouldn't wait for Austin build with the hope of better build quality. It is all random quality with Tesla. Build quality should be better in Austin. Both front and rear should be casted.

Yes my Fremont had some weird stuff like windshield scratches (I fixed myself) and a rattle in the back (solved myself) but wow her interior is roughed up. Her A pillar is frayed on the edges, the cup holder is crooked (doesn't shut flush) and the headliner has all kinds of scratches and dirt marks. Seems Austin is very very rough with interiors.
